Ken Goessling, CCIM

Ken Goessling, CCIM brings 25 years of commercial real estate experience. Ken received his CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation in 1997 while working for his family leasing, managing, restoring, buying and selling their office, retail and industrial properties in St. Louis. Ken managed a portfolio of 850,000 square feet of high-rise office and retail space for CTMT before joining GE Real Estate. It was at GE Real Estate where Ken was introduced to the effective use of auctions to sell real property. As an Asset Manager for the office, hotel, retail and industrial REO properties all over the nation, Ken exceeded his goal of 95% of appraised value and an average hold of less than six months largely due to the success of auctions. Ken has extensive property valuation experience working with the Global Valuations Team at GE and consulting with the risk and equity groups on collateral and acquisition valuation. In 2011 Ken took a position as asset manager at US Trust which is now part of Bank of America’s GWIM (Global Wealth Investment Management) group. At US Trust Ken handled a wide variety of management, investment and debt restructuring for some of the Midwest’s wealthiest families overseeing properties in St. Louis and Seattle. Ken currently serves as the Director of Real Estate for Commercial Property Investors. CPI manages construction and operations of two hotels, a conference center, 288 unit garden apartments, and a 60,000 sf retail box with two tenants. Current construction projects totaling $160M include an Active Living community for 55+ with market rate villas (99) and apartments (116) and a mixed-use development on 28 acres with 240 unit interior corridor apartments, 144 garden apartments, and 8 acres of entertainment, retail and music venue.

Ken also currently works with investors to buy apartments in Missouri through Duke Real Estate where he is the owner and broker of record.
